Walnut Hill Stables is owned by Rick and Becky Grissinger of Marengo, Ohio. Becky grew up on the farm where Walnut Hill Stables is located. After raising their family in Wooster, Ohio Rick and Becky relocated back to Marengo to be closer to their grandchildren. Rick has also been instrumental in building the barn. Any details aside from the structure itself Rick built! Becky's business background has been vital in the start up of Walnut Hill Stables. In their free time they enjoy spending time with their 6 grandchildren and visiting their lake house in Marblehead, Ohio.

Keri teaches lessons in English & Western disciplines as well as showmanship. Keri earned a degree from the College of Medicine at The Ohio State University in Healthcare Administration and General Business. She enjoys spending time with her daughters, traveling and skiing.
Kaity grew up in Southern Ohio as an active member of Walnut Creek Pony Club. As an adult she is now a member through their Horsemasters Program. Through Pony Club she gained a love for the sport of Eventing. She loved Pony Club’s focus on horse management and believes that everyone who wants to ride should have a basic understanding of the care that is involved with horses and often sneaks these principles into her lessons. She earned two business degrees and a minor in equine science at Otterbein University. While at Otterbein Kaity was a member of the Eventing team. Currently she is the HR Coordinator for Bon Appetit at Denison University. Kaity currently teaches lessons in Dressage, jumping and basic equitation. When she is not teaching she enjoys riding one of her two horses, Legend and Willie. Legend is an Off the Track Thoroughbred who raced 87 times during his racing career. Kaity adopted him in 2017 through New Vocations. Together, they won the New Vocations Pony Club Challenge at Tryon, North Carolina (Eventing Discipline) in 2018. Willie is a 6 year old Hanoverian gelding and also, the barn clown. Kaity has had Willie since he was 2 following a broken neck injury. He is fully recovered and I'm hoping he will finally be making his debut into the world of horse showing this coming season!
